Springfield has a yearly event called snowfest where they take a layer of ice off the ice rink in june and make a pile for the kids to play in. Then there are some moon bounces and various activities for kids along with a fountain you can play in. Lastly they have live music. We went yesterday to check it out. Isaac completely refused to go anywhere near the snow and we figured he would freak on the moon bounces. We sat in the park and ate our picnic dinner while listening to the music. The runner up from season 1 of american idol was suppose to sing starting at 7pm. Unfortunately it started pouring rain at about 5:30pm so we decided to go home and call it a night!
