Waiting

Isaac has this signing time video he watches and one of the signs is wait. At one point the screen goes black and you hear the words "now you are waiting." That's how I feel about most things in my life right now.

I'm waiting for the baby to come. Each day I think "maybe today will be the day." At least I have two things going for me. 1) Yesterday my doctor said she would strip my membranes next week at my appointment. 2) I know this baby will be born at the latest March 27th because that's when my c-section is scheduled for if he hasn't come before then.

I'm waiting for my Mom to get here, because I can't wait to see her and have her help.

I'm waiting for the house to be officially sold. Our settlement date is March 26th and we're planning on moving on the 22nd. Until then I feel like I'm living in limbo. I can't really get anything done where we're moving to, because we need our stuff where we're living right now. Also, I don't think I'll be totally worry free about selling the house until all the papers are signed, t's crossed, and i's dotted.

I'm waiting for boards to be over and Brian to finish his requirements in the clinic so we can stop worrying about those two things.

I'm waiting for graduation so we can be officially done with dental school and move on to the next stage in our lives.

I'm waiting to figure out for sure who Brian will work for and do all the planning that goes along with that.

Anyway, it feels like there's a lot of waiting going on these days, but I'm also excited for all the new adventures that lie ahead!
