Houston, we had a...fun time

Well, the stated purpose of our trip was Justin, my old roommate's wedding. We went to the reception Friday night in Vidor (near Beaumont, TX). Justin seems to really have found a gem in Melissa. We're very happy for him. The ceremony was held in the Houston Temple. We also had a ton of fun with Sarah's side of the family. The first Friday morning, I went golfing with Sarah's brothers. Instead of keeping track of my score, I kept track of the good shots I had (~8 good shots out of 18 holes). Wow. We had fun at a indoor blow up toy place called Pump It Up. The climax of our trip was either our Galveston trip or Survivor Bunco. We got lots of great pictures in Galveston at the beach. We discovered that Isaac loves sand. We couldn't get him to stop putting it in his mouth. He couldn't get enough of me throwing him in the air. While there, we flew kites and rode in a four wheel pedal carriage. Paul and Caryn's daughters, Melissa and Crystal had a ball. Sarah spent a lot of time before our trip preparing for Survivor Bunco, which was won by Eric, much to Julie's dismay. She tried hard, but lost unanimously in the final vote. Sorry, Jules. We still love you. We went swimming in the community pools a couple times, and finally Isaac discovered the joy of water. He should have taken to it without hesitation with all the Baby Neptune he's been watching all day every day. We also went to Dallas for a day and a half to visit my brother, Robert, who loaded us up with all the oral hygiene products we will ever use. We really enjoyed seeing Dallin and Joshua in their natural habitat.

Isaac looks so cute in the water! It's fun when they get old enough to appreciate it. Looks like a fun trip!
