Fourth of July Fun

We had quite the adventurous 4th of July. First we went to the Marshfield Parade which is the oldest parade west of the Mississippi. There were tons of interesting things to see like, go carts, shopping carts, camels, lots of tractors, unicylists, lots of army floats, and tons of horses. Isaac particularly liked getting the candy and proceded to eat it right away. The parade was about 2 hours long and for a while we were beginning to wonder if it would even end. After the parade, we heade to the...

I love America celebration. It's a huge celebration they do here in springfield with lots of games for the kids, free watermelon, live bands, and an air show. Isaac had fun in the grass while Nathan and Dad chilled in the camp chair.

The celebration contiued until fireworks later that night but around 4pm we took off to head towards our next adventure...BBQ with some friends from Brian's office in Branson. Needless to say, by the end of the day we were all feeling a little bit like Isaac in this picture!
