Yesterday I set Isaac down on the counter for a minute to stir something up. I didn't realize the stove burner was still hot from what I had just been cooking and his little fingers couldn't resist touching it. He screemed for quite a while as I ran his fingers under cold water. He has the biggest blisters I have every seen and last night whenever he would try to use his hand it would hurt and the crying would start all over again. Poor little guy. I have decided that countertops and kids just don't mix well. We've had far too many incidents and far to many close calls...what's a mom to do?

Aww, poor kid and poor MOM! It's the worst when your baby doesn't feel good and there's nothing you can do! I hope he heals up quick.
Oh no! It's so sad when your kids get hurt. I wish I had a remedy to make the burn stop hurting. I know my mom has some home remedies. I got burnt with a curling iron when I was young (so i'm told, i don't remember it, thankfully). If you want, I can ask her, but I'm sure your mom has some too.
